BigBadLaunchPad is a platform from BigBadToyStore for launching collectible projects. Collectors can follow and react to projects, receive updates, and place orders during a project's launch window. Depending on the project, collector support may unlock additional products and bonuses, or help determine whether a project proceeds to production.

Select the Follow button on any project page to receive notifications when a creator posts an update, an unlock clears, or a launch window is about to close. No. Following, reacting, and sharing are free. You only pay when you place an order. For Collectors Decide projects, you are only charged if the project reaches its funding goal.

Founder Pricing is a special rate for everyone who orders during the launch window. After the window closes, prices may increase.

A launch window is the limited time a project is open for collector orders and support to help reach the project's goal. Launch window timing can vary by project. Check the project page for the exact closing date.

No. You can order as many or as few products as you want.

Most pre-orders are charged when the item arrives at the warehouse and your order is filled. If a project requires a down payment, that will be disclosed on the project page. For Collectors Decide projects, any required down payment is only collected if the project reaches its funding goal.

No. Down payments are set per project and are always disclosed before you place your order.

Yes. Pre-orders placed through BigBadLaunchPad will flow into your BBTS account like any other pre-order, and can ship with your Pile of Loot once they arrive.

Yes. You can cancel or modify most pre-orders at any time prior to their arrival at our warehouse. This can be done directly from "My Account". Please keep in mind that if you cancel a pre-order that required a non-refundable down payment, your down payment will not be refunded. BigBadLaunchPad combines collector participation with the convenience of shopping through BigBadToyStore. Instead of making a pledge to a creator, collectors place orders directly through BBTS. Unlike traditional crowdfunding, not every project on BigBadLaunchPad depends on funding to move forward. Depending on the project type, products may already be confirmed for launch, may expand through collector participation, or may require collector support to move forward.

This project is confirmed to launch. Order your favorite products from the lineup and check back often for updates and production milestones.

Because production is already confirmed, your pre-order is locked in when you place it.

No. If a project is set up to grow with collector support, it runs as a Make it Bigger & Badder project instead.

A Make it Bigger & Badder project has an initial product lineup that is confirmed for launch. Every order placed during the launch window contributes toward the next unlock milestone, adding additional products and free bonus items to the project.

Order any available item from the project during the launch window and encourage other collectors to do the same. Every item purchased helps move the project closer to the next unlock milestone.

Follow the project to be notified when new updates or unlocks are available. Updates are also posted on each project's Updates tab.

It depends on the type of unlock. To receive a bonus unlock, you must have an eligible order from the project, and some bonus items may only be included with specific products. Additional unlocked products can be ordered after they become available — you do not need to have ordered from the initial product lineup.

Yes! Every order placed during the launch window, including unlocked products, counts toward the next unlock milestone.

This project's product lineup will only move forward if it reaches its funding goal during the launch window. If the goal is met, your order is secured. Otherwise, your order will be automatically canceled and no payment will be collected.

A down payment is authorized at checkout, but is only collected and becomes non-refundable if the project reaches its funding goal. The remaining balance is charged when your item arrives at the warehouse and your order is filled.

The project and your order are canceled. Any down payment authorizations are released and no payment is collected.
