NPC (Non-Playable Characters) Wave 1

What is the NPC line, and what's the idea behind it?
Every great scene needs more than just the main character. It needs the Mob Boss running the operation, the Cheerleader on the sidelines, the News Anchor breaking the story, the SWAT Commander storming the building. NPC gives collectors those figures, the ones who make a world feel real, so you can build out a full scene instead of just one hero on a shelf.

Why "Non-Playable Characters" as a theme?
There are countless worlds full of NPCs, the background characters who make every story feel complete. We wanted to bring that idea into physical form and let collectors build those worlds for themselves.

What scale are the figures, and why did you choose 1/12?
These figures are 1/12 scale, a well-established standard in the action figure world, so they fit naturally alongside a huge range of lines and accessories collectors already own.

How many figures are planned for this first wave, and are more planned?
This wave includes four base characters and one accessory kit: Mob Boss, Cheerleader, News Anchor, SWAT Commander, and the SWAT Accessory Kit. Additional unlockable products and bonus items can be viewed on the Project page and will open for pre-order once we hit our goals. This is meant to be an ongoing series, with future characters like the Stay-at-Home Mom, Bank Robbers, Gangsters, FBI Agents, Detectives, and an Exorcist Priest already planned.

What kind of articulation do the figures have?
These are fully articulated figures, just like every other line from BigBadWorkShop.

Do the figures come with interchangeable parts or accessories?
Yes. Each figure comes with multiple accessories and swappable components so you can customize the pose and story.

Is this a limited run, and will there be exclusive variants?
Reissues are rare and never guaranteed, so we recommend locking in your pre-order. There will also be some chase variants, mainly around accessories, detailed on the product listing when they apply.

What makes NPC stand out, and does it work with my existing collection?
NPC flips the script by focusing on background characters instead of lead heroes, the kind of figures that usually never get made. They're great for dioramas and photography, and they complement almost any collection you already have.

When do these figures release?
ETAs are published on every product listing, and we will do our best to stick to that timeline.

Will there be a pre-order window, and how does that work?
Pre-orders open August 18th at 10AM CST and run for 30 days during the Launch Window on BigBadLaunchPad. Some items are only available during this window, others remain open afterward, though pricing may change.
