About this Project
Bringing Madman to life as an action figure is an incredible opportunity to celebrate one of comics’ most distinctive heroes. Through our license with Mike Allred, we are creating a collectible that captures the character’s design, offbeat energy, and timeless comic book style. This project is built for longtime fans who have followed Frank Einstein’s surreal adventures, as well as new collectors discovering Madman for the first time. Our goal is to honor the spirit of the source material while delivering a figure that feels bold, expressive, and worthy of the character’s unique place in independent comics.

The Story
Frank Einstein, better known as Madman, is a reanimated hero created by Mike Allred. Once a secret agent named Zane Townsend, Frank was pulled from a car wreck, stitched back together, and brought back to life by eccentric scientists Dr. Flem and Dr. Boiffard. He awakens with no memory of his past, a scarred blue body, superhuman agility, and strange psychic flashes. His new name is a tribute to Frank Sinatra and Albert Einstein. Wearing a bold lightning bolt costume inspired by a half-remembered comic book hero, Madman fights monsters, aliens, robots, and cosmic threats across the retro-futurist streets of Snap City. At its heart, Madman is a surreal superhero adventure about second chances, self-discovery, and finding humanity in the strangest places.
