Product Description
David Stirling was a World War II war hero and founder of the British S.A.S. unit. In the fifteen months David Stirling ran the group, the S.A.S. was responsible for destroying 250 enemy aircraft as well as dozens of supply dumps telecommunications. The Germans dubbed him "The Phantom Major" and was captured by German forces in January of 1943 and remained a prisoner for the remainder of the war, although he did attempt a total of five escapes.
