Product Description
"I won't stop until I die!"
"Locust" was originally a test subject at the Artificial Evolution Research Institute; its specific designation number remains unknown due to missing records. In March 2031, an EAE advance team discovered its remains within a "cocoon chamber" in Antarctica and re-registered it as B0200, following the Institute's sequential numbering system.
Following the formulation of the Daedalus Project, EAE utilized the remains as a foundation for mechanical modification. Under the "Sufferer Project," EAE transplanted spinal cord tissue from a pilot who was in a near-death state into the insectoid body, restoring only basic vital signs. Subsequently, a CP-v7 sample was harvested and grafted into the transplanted spinal tissue. Using the A010 substrate, the consciousness structure was reconstructed to form a model that closely mirrored the original pilot's behavioral patterns; this served as the "Basic Operation Mode" (A-Mode).
Later, two additional operators underwent fusion with the samples and internal receptors within the insectoid body, leading to the development of B-Mode and C-Mode. The original neural synchronization algorithm was upgraded to a polymorphic neural synchronization algorithm, making Locust the first bio-mechanical composite capable of being operated by multiple pilots in rotation. By alternating between these three modes, the unit achieves sustained operational capability across virtually all environmental conditions.
