Product Description
Mechagodzilla, from the 1975 film *Terror of Mechagodzilla*, is now part of the ARTPLA series!
The sculpt was created by artist Taro Murai. Inspired by the scene where Mechagodzilla attacks the city of Yokosuka, this figure captures the sheer power, destructiveness, and menace etched in viewers' memories through an entirely new sculpt. Design elements draw from motifs such as sumo wrestlers, Kabuki, and *Hannya* masks, elevating the impression of Mechagodzilla from the film into a figure with even greater strength and presence.
It also comes with a diorama base featuring destroyed buildings and rubble, effectively showcasing Mechagodzilla’s massive scale as it rampages through the city. Interchangeable head parts allow you to display the figure with its internal electronic brain exposed. The mouth, neck, wrists, and waist feature articulation, and the "Cross Attack Beam" hatch can be installed in either the open or closed position.
Enjoy the unique ARTPLA experience of assembling Mechagodzilla—a robot monster that is a weapon from head to toe—with your own hands.
