Tik Ka From East, artist who is well-known for creating works that combines Chinese and Western culture, Cross over with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Big Boys Toys, creates a new series for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in oriental style.
The creation concept comes from Fūrinkazan (wind, forest, fire and mountain), a Japanese military motto adopted by daimyō Takeda Shingen in the Sengoku period in ancient Japan. Originated from Sun Tze's The Art of War, a military treatise from the ancient Chinese wartimes, the quote "as swift as wind, as gentle as forest, as fierce as fire, as unshakable as mountain." becomes a philosophy in military as well as in life.
The iconic turtle is reimagined as a divine warrior, channelling the forces of nature.Building upon the original concept, this second edition transforms the sculpture into a stone-like form, symbolizing the accumulation of time and the endurance of will. Plus partial selected details in chrome gold finishing, introducing a contemporary visual language that creates a dialogue between stillness and motion, antiquity and modernity.
Stone and gold-rigidity and softness-intertwine, allowing Fūrin Kazan to transcend its origins as a philosophy of battle and emerge as a spiritual symbol that bridges time and culture.

Trained by their mutated rat master Splinter; the four turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo display various ninja skills to protect New York City from evil. The TMNT media franchise has expanded to other media formats beyond the comics, popularizing with various animated series throughout the years.
