Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game has been written under the Open Game License and is compatible with the fifth edition of the world’s most popular roleplaying game. Experienced players will already know how to play this game, and those new to RPGs will find it easy to learn.
Players will choose to align with one of the 10 Factions found within the Realm of Mythoss. How your actions benefit your Faction, or choices you make that hurt your kingdom’s greatest enemies, can open up new abilities to players. Each Faction has specific abilities and unlocks that are unique to that group, adding incredible variety to how different players will evolve over the course of their time in Mythoss.
While the foundation of the game will be familiar, Four Horsemen made sure to add plenty of elements that will set it apart from existing games on the market. Players will adventure within the setting of Mythoss, where they will encounter an original story with species, monsters, magical items, and more that are unique to Mythic Legions.
Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game can be played with standees or with miniatures (sold separately). The same characters represented in standees and minis are also available as fully posable, 7-inch action figures (sold separately). When the adventure heats up, that is when our "Mythic Encounter" comes into play!
Swap your 1-inch grid for a corresponding 4-inch grid map and your Mythic Legions RPG figures can replace your minis for that boss-level battle! Pose your figures according to the spell you are casting or the blow you are about to land and see the party on the map before you come to life like never before. This is a Mythic Encounter!
As your character levels up and changes during your adventures in Mythic Legions: The Roleplaying Game, so too can your action figures evolve. All Mythic Legions figures are built with poppable and swappable parts, from their heads, to their limbs, to their torsos, armor and more. You can mix and match parts from different figures to create your ideal character. You can also add pieces to the figure over time as they acquire new weapons, armor, and other items.

Once, there was an age so far distant that only its stories remain. These are the stories of Mythoss, a peaceful kingdom populated by great beasts who walked side-by-side with women and men in a harmonious land, brimming with joy and prosperiety. But these stories also tell of vast and terrible evil armies sent to destroy the kingdoms of Mythoss and all who called them home. These stories immortailzed the names of Leodysseus, Bassylia, Xylona, and Eathyron; the brave beasts who stood up and fought the dark forces threatening their beloved land of Mythoss. Their bravery saved Mythoss; but sadly, after their stories ended, their land would remain forever stained by a darkness that will never be forgotten.
Now a new story is being written, as memories of the ancient ages have faded over time, so have those of the great beasts that once walked the earth. In their wake, four massive legions, each dedicated to the memory of one of the brave defenders of yesteryear, have assembled. Over the centuries, these legions have relegated evil to living in the darkest corners, far away from the noble kingdoms fo Mythoss.
But now an uneasiness stirs and casts a dark shadow over the land, fueled by whispers of the return of the ancient evils; Poxxus, Illythea, Arethyr, and Necronominus. The evil masses have mobilized their own armies dedicated to ushering in their dark masters' return.
The stage is now set for the greatest story of all, as good and evil clash in an epic battle to determine the destiny of Mythoss--the story of Mythic Legions.
