Captain America vs. Ryu
Doctor Doom vs. Wesker
She-Hulk vs. Chun Li
X-23 vs. Felicia
Captain America vs. Ryu:
-Clad in his classic patriotically-themed uniform, Captain America is equipped with his trademark shield; deemed unfit for duty during WWII, Steve Rogers is selected for the experimental Super Soldier program.
-Having learned the Ansatsuken technique from Master Gouken, Ryu battles through the first World Warrior tournament, working his way up to the tournament’s current champion, Sagat; Ryu succeeds in defeating Sagat, scarring the latter’s chest and sorely effacing Sagat’s warrior pride.
Doctor Doom vs. Wesker:
-Doctor Doom’s extensive scientific genius enables him to construct myriad devices designed to aggrandize his own power or exploit the vulnerabilities of his enemies; his computer-powered armor heightens his strength, braces him against a variety of physical and energy-based attacks, and is imbued with life support measures enabling long-term survival in underwater or outer space environments.
-Introduced as the commander of the Alpha team of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service (STARS), Albert Wesker is eventually revealed to be a double agent working on behalf of the Umbrella Corporation; allying with Doctor Doom, Wesker hopes to exploit the Abyss which threatens the Capcom and Marvel Universe by merging both into a single universe ruled by Doom and himself.
She-Hulk vs. Chun Li:
-An otherwise unassuming lawyer, Jennifer Walters sustains a gun wound and receives a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner; she is transformed into the She-Hulk, lacking the strength of the Savage Hulk but retaining her original intelligence.
-After the murder of her father, Chun Li investigates and confronts the responsible party, M. Bison, only to be quickly outmatched by Bison’s psycho power; she later becomes an Interpol agent in the hopes of breaking the power of the Shadoloo organization, and enters the Street Fighter Tournament to face Bison once again.
X-23 vs. Felicia:
-X-23 is the result of an attempt to recreate the original Weapon X experiment, her gender stemming from damaged genetic material lacking a viable Y chromosome; like Wolverine, X-23 possesses drastically enhanced speed, strength and reflexes, and a regenerative healing factor powerful enough to replace severed appendages.
-Due to her appearance, specifically her claws and tail, Felicia is initially mistaken for a mutant by the Marvel Universe heroes; temporarily forestalling her dream of assembling an all-catgirl band, Felicia battles against the Abyss which threatens both the Capcom and Marvel universes.
