Product Description
Sculpted by the Kucharek Brothers.The Green Goblin was the unstable result of an augmentation formula which transforms industrialist Norman Osborn into a depraved supervillain. Despite his outlandishness of his costume and affectatious gimmickry, the Green Goblin is vain and egotistical, given to vast delusions of grandeur. He gains Spider-Man's attention early on, and later blames Spider-Man for his (Goblin’s) failure to become global crime lord. Fading in and out of his supervillain persona, the Green Goblin, having ascertained Spider-Man’s true identity, kidnaps Gwen Stacy and hurls her the height of Brooklyn Bridge. Spider-Man fails to save Gwen and in a resultant confrontation the Green Goblin is nearly beaten to death by the enraged Spider-Man. The Goblin uses his telepathic control over his Goblin Glider in an attempt to attack Spider-Man from behind, however Spider-Man’s spider-sense warns him in advance and the Green Goblin is instead impaled on the warped figurehead of the damaged glider.
