Product Description
Cassian was born into the illustrious House Valerian. From the Republic’s earliest days, this ancient house has been known for its martial valor, and its crest has long adorned the Wall of Honor in the Cauldron.
Unlike other nobles, Cassian rarely boasts of his lineage. To him, glory has never been a matter of choice, but a fate that must be borne.
After joining the Pegasus Guard in his youth, he quickly distinguished himself through calm judgment and capable command. During one campaign against the mountain walls of the western frontier, he led fewer than a hundred Winged Hussars in repeated assaults through sandstorms and canyons, ultimately crushing a barbarian horde several times their number. That battle brought him swift renown, and by merit of his service he was elevated to captain of the guard.
As captain, his personal armor has been specially enhanced by the Military Engineering Bureau. His armor is fitted with a dual-layer propulsion module and a long-range sensor array, ensuring high-speed maneuverability even under low-visibility conditions. His lance-system integrates burst-propulsion with an oscillating blade mode, so that when he charges, he strikes like a steel spearhead sweeping across the sandsea.
Yet glory does not rest forever upon a single man.
The rise of the enhanced human Narcissus shook Karsten like a comet blazing across the heavens. His astonishing string of victories briefly eclipsed the prestige of traditional knightly orders. Toward this rising star, Cassian harbors admiration mingled with emotions he finds difficult to articulate.
As conflicts between Karsten and foreign powers have steadily increased in recent years, Cassian has personally led the Pegasus Guard into the northern sandsea.
In that wasteland veiled in blue mist, he invokes the ancients’ blessing, that the Pegasus Guard may once more vindicate the glory of knighthood.
