As seen in the HBO series Game of Thrones, Drogon was raised since birth by Daenerys Targaryen, and is also the Mother of Dragons’ personal mount. Named after Daenerys’s late husband Khal Drogo, Drogon is distinguished by his black and red colored scales, and red-black wings.
