When do I pay for a pre-order?
With BigBadToyStore pre-orders, no payment is generally collected until the item arrives at our warehouse and is ready to ship. You choose your payment method when you place the pre-order, and we automatically charge it only when your item is in hand. Some items require a down payment.
What happens if the price changes after I pre-order?
If BigBadToyStore reduces the price of an item while your pre-order is still open, your price is adjusted down so you pay the lowest listed price. In the rare event of a mandatory price increase, we notify affected customers, and you remain free to cancel your pre-order at any time.
Can I cancel or change a pre-order?
Yes. You can cancel most BigBadToyStore pre-orders at any time before the item arrives at our warehouse, directly from My Account. Because payment is not collected until your item is ready to ship, there is nothing to refund when you cancel a standard pre-order. If an item required a non-refundable down payment, cancellation can be done through your BBTS account, or Customer Service is always happy to help. Non-refundable down payments are not returned.
What collectibles can I pre-order at BigBadToyStore?
Thousands of items are available to pre-order at any time, from Marvel Legends and Star Wars The Black Series to import lines such as S.H.Figuarts and MAFEX, plus statues, model kits, and tabletop gaming. Use the filters to browse pre-orders by company, series, or product type.
Can I combine pre-orders into one shipment?
Yes, with Pile of Loot. As your pre-orders arrive, when using the Pile of Loot, the items will be added to your Pile of Loot and you can hold them for up to 90 days. Then, ship any combination of pre-orders and in-stock items together for a $6 flat rate to street addresses in the contiguous United States. No shipping is charged until you choose to ship, giving you full control over how and when your collection arrives.
Can I choose a package grade like BBTS Mint Pro on pre-orders?
Yes. BBTS Package Grading options, including BBTS Mint and BBTS Mint Pro, are offered on eligible pre-orders. If we cannot supply the grade you selected, we automatically downgrade you to the next best grade, charge you accordingly, and give you the option to return the item if the new grade does not meet your needs.
Does BigBadToyStore offer exclusive pre-orders?
Yes. BBTS Exclusive figures are available.
What happens if a pre-order is delayed or cancelled?
Expected arrival dates are estimates, and the collectibles industry does experience manufacturer and shipping delays. Your pre-order simply remains open until the item arrives, and you may cancel most pre-orders at any time before arrival. In the rare case we cannot fulfill your pre-order, we cancel it and notify you immediately. Because payment is generally not collected until an item is ready to ship, no money is tied up while you wait.
