Square Enix meticulously pored over every fine detail, expression and textures of this figure in order to recreate Rorschach just as he is depicted in Zack Snyder's Watchmen, even down to his signature trench coat. They also paid special attention to recreating his mannerisms and the way he stands by making sure the shoulder joints allow for a maximum range of posing, along with an interchangeable coat piece that simulates his hands in his pockets. The Watchmen Play Arts ~KAI~ Rorschach features a wide variety of accessories, including the Wire Gun, a spray can, a piece of wood for igniting, a special effects piece that recreates a flame, a rose, and Rorschach's Journal so the collector may recreate various iconic scenes from the Watchmen tale. Rorschach is dressed in the trench coat, suit, hat and ink blot mask comprising his austere uniform. The brutal, uncompromising Rorschach identity is inspired by the report of a vicious murder committed within plain view of a crowd of indifferent onlookers. Rorschach eventually forms a lucrative partnership with Nite Owl II. Years later, in the process of investigating the Comedian’s murder, Rorschach is framed for the murder of the terminally ill Moloch and is eventually overwhelmed and apprehended by the police. Incarcerated, he casually slaughters the thugs of the vengeful Big Figure, imprisoned on the basis of evidence collected by Rorschach and Nite Owl, before escaping his cell and cornering the terrified Big Figure in a bathroom. Rorschach is subsequently broken out of prison by Nite Owl and Silk Specter, and accompanies Nite Owl on a last-ditch mission to confront an unlikely and infinitely dangerous adversary.
