Leading the team is Ryo Sakazaki "The Invincible Dragon" the stoic, iron-willed heir to the Kyokugenryu style whose raw power and relentless determination have made him one of the most feared fighters in South Town.
At his side stands Robert Garcia, "The Raging Tiger" a flamboyant Italian-American millionaire whose speed, agility, and devastating kick-based Kyokugenryu techniques complement Ryo's power perfectly, the best friend and eternal rival who ran away from his wealthy family to chase the path of the martial artist.
Completing the trio is Yuri Sakazaki, Ryo's spirited younger sister whose cheerful personality and surprisingly lethal Kyokugenryu techniques belie a fighter of formidable talent, a warrior who earned her place on the team through sheer will and refuses to be left behind.
Together, they enter KOF '98 Ultimate Match, the ultimate Dream Match tournament, to prove once and for all that the Kyokugenryu style stands above all others.
