The New 52 Captain Cold is driven entirely by revenge, blaming the Flash for an EMP which deprives Cold’s sister of a life-saving procedure. Along with other team members of the Rogues, Captain Cold is among the army of supervillains assembled by the Crime Syndicate following the latter’s conquest of Earth.
