This Cthulhu Evolution statue, from Japanese Sculptor Takayuki Takeya, is based on the description found in Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu. Takayuki Takeya has reimagined the Great Old One, making for a statue like never seen before.
The sculpting and paintwork master were done by Takayuki Takeya himself. Cthulhu stands atop a base representing the ruins of the sunken city of R'lyeh and its non-Euclidean geometry.
