Vahkar is Chief Koren’s special investigator and a premier hunter among the Soil Ghosts. His name translates to "The Crown of the Wilderness" in the old Estancia tongue. Recently, the Gray Zone has been plagued by reports of Soil Ghosts engaging in senseless killing and looting—rumors that threaten the tribe’s fragile reputation and very survival. Deeply disturbed by these accusations, Chief Koren dispatched Vahkar to the front lines to uncover the grim reality: is this a calculated frame-job by outsiders to demonize the Soil Ghosts, or has a splinter faction from within betrayed their peaceful faith?
