Vader has assembled a diverse assortment of some of the galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunters to track down the Millennium Falcon. It’s time for Dengar to join the hunt!
Digitally scanned from mint 3 3/4” Kenner originals and reproduced to a substantial Jumbo scale. Nothing has been overlooked. Roto and injection molded and made of durable plastics, this jumbo figure is fully articulated and includes a faithfully reproduced blaster, just like the original.
That’s not all, this classic Kenner creation comes packaged on a 1980 Empire Strikes Back-inspired blister card, featuring original front and “45 back” artwork, in a re-sealable plastic outer clam shell to help protect and display!
Scarred and pitted, his head swathed in a dirty bandage, Dengar is a slouching presence beneath his weatherworn and blaster-scored armor. Portions of the armor, such as the backpack and chest plate, have a rudimentary mechanized look to them. Dengar is armed with a battered long-range rifle. In the supplemental material, Dengar’s haggard appearance is cited as the result of a horrible speeder bike accident. He is alternately portrayed as an Imperial-engineered assassin, otherwise known by the cringeworthy codename “Payback”, driven to rebellion and madness and recycled into a highly efficient mercenary interest. Other sources assign Dengar a largely diminished presence secondary to that of Boba Fett, whom Dengar rescues after Fett’s last ditch escape and debilitating recovery from the digestive acids of the Sarlacc.
