Capable of both bipedal and quadrupedal attack, Anguirus is extremely durable and offensively armored with thick thorns of growth. Anguirus mostly lacks advanced attacks such as Godzilla’s atomic breath, thereby relying upon an unrelenting standard assaults, and his natural weapons, such as his spike-laden back, serve him well in this capacity. First appearing in Godzilla Raids Again, Anguirus was the first of Godzilla’s adversaries, and was defeated by Godzilla’s atomic breath. Later, in Destroy All Monsters, Anguirus joined in the battle against King Ghidorah, becoming Godzilla’s ally.
