Nuclear-spawned, Godzilla originally emerges from the bay to attack Tokyo, and is initially neutralized by the Oxygen Destroyer. Possessing immense strength and resiliency, Godzilla uses his atomic breath to incinerate his adversaries. In Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla and his fellow gigantic monsters are relocated to the United Nations Science Committee’s Monster Island. When the monsters abruptly leave the island and lay siege to various locations throughout the world, it is revealed that the scientists manning Monster Island have fallen under the control of Kilaakian alien invaders. The Kilaakian later unleash King Ghidorah, pitting him against the former residents of Monster Island, a group of monsters including Godzilla and Minilla, Rodan, Mothra, Anguirus, Baragon and others.
