From the 1989 “Godzilla vs. Biollante” film. A massive 31 cm (12") high and 68cm (27") across! Includes clear parts for the poison sack in its “chest” and a movable lower jaw.
Some assembly required.
Biollante is the result of a scientist’s misguided attempt to preserve a single rose containing the DNA of his deceased daughter by introducing the indestructible cellular material of Godzilla. The rose gradually mutates until it outgrows its surroundings and becomes mobile. Initially depicted as a gigantic animate rose with a tooth-filled maw and attack-vines, Biollante inadvertently beacons Godzilla and is thoroughly overwhelmed by him. Incinerated by Godzilla’s atomic breath, Biollante dissipates into space-borne particles but is later reconstituted into a massive, muscular beast with flesh-rending tusks and monstrous vine-like tentacles. During the rematch Godzilla is nearly overpowered by the larger Biollante, but narrowly succeeds in defeating Biollante with his atomic breath.
