The Regenerating Angel (Screaming Head) is a robed figure bearing a fanged demonic likeness. Introduced in the episode “Blink”, the Weeping Angels are quick, lethal predators limited by the inability to move while being observed, often prompting them to cover their eyes with raised arms so as not to catch a glimpse of one another. The Weeping Angels prey on a victim not by killing the victim but rather transporting the victim backward to a time prior to the victim’s birth and then deriving sustenance from the victim’s potential energy.
