The TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space) is a time traveling device and vessel utilized by Doctor Who. The TARDIS is a manifestation of Time Lord technology. The Doctor’s model is a substandard Type 40, complete with a malfunctioning chameleon circuit that leaves the TARDIS trapped in the outward semblance of an antiquated London police box.
