The Star Wars Mini Lightsaber Tech Lab provides insight into the creation of a lightsaber, enabling one to choose from four different colored crystals and two lenses and create a miniature version of the Lightsaber used by Anakin Skywalker. The lightsaber measures 8.25" when fully assembled and includes a learning guide and 3 button cell batteries. Requiring substantial strength and dexterity, the lightsaber, once a ceremonial weapon, was utilized primarily by the likes of Jedi and Sith warriors. Whereas lightsaber hilts were tailored according to wielders’ preference, the blade itself was comprised of plasma energy bound by a force containment field. A standard lightsaber required the following components: hilt, pommel, diatium power cell, insert power insulator, focusing lens, lightsaber crystal, emitter matrix, and blade emitter.
