The Hammerburst II is the primary infantry weapon of the Locust. It features larger caliber rounds and a slow-automatic fire mode. Though it lacks an additional melee weapon (such as the Lancer's chainsaw bayonet), users can fire the weapon as quickly as they feel is necessary (provided they can handle the powerful recoil). To compensate, many users fire in quick bursts of 3 or 4 rounds at a time.
