The DC Stars 17” The Joker Doll is crafted of fully white fine vinyl/hard plastic body with rooted saran hair and hand-painted facial detail. The Joker Doll features 15 points of articulation, and is accompanied by a display base. Equipped with a cane, the Joker’s expansive baroque attire includes shirt, vest, coat, pants, socks and shoes; the Joker’s coattails are wire-lined. In this case the lavish Tonner Doll aesthetic serves to provide the Joker with a particularly sardonic countenance. The Joker’s trademark deadliest weapon is the Joker venom, a concoction (to which the Joker himself is immune) that causes death in the form of uncontrollable laughter and a fixed, hideous rictus grin. The Joker’s perverse sense of humor is almost always interwoven into the gruesome varicolored tapestry of his criminal career, defining the Joker just as rigorously contradicting the grim taciturnity of Batman.
