Poised atop a twisting rock escarpment, the Mole Man looks on maniacally as his gigantic surrogate monster attacks the Fantastic Four. The Human Torch is encircling the monster’s bulky mass. The Invisible Girl is trapped in the monster’s taloned grasp. In the foreground, the Thing and Mister Fantastic are looking on in minor dumbfoundment as they attempt to devise a strategy to rescue Sue Storm and to defeat the Mole Man’s ugly critter.
