The Face Off 2-Pack is set in scale and in matching articulation with the Marvel Legends line. These sets include durable display bases with clip-on diorama scenes.
This is the classic Savage Hulk version, a version featuring a more snarling expression. Gamma-gorged, the Hulk is imbued strength approximate to his nearly boundless fury. Massive, a dark ugly green, and clad in his familiar tattered purple pants, the Hulk is more than willing to pound his way through an entire swath of supervillains in order to deliver a sound thrashing to the smug Leader. As it turns out, this isn’t required, because the Leader is trapped inside the bubble directly alongside the Hulk.
This version of the Leader marks the dissipation of his original gamma transformation. The Leader had begun to detect a loss of intellectual potency, initially attributing the deficit to stress and anxiety over his long string of tactical losses to the Hulk, and by the time the Leader realized what was actually happening he lacked the intellect to address the problem. Later, the Leader would reestablish his gamma transformation, though this time his head would expand outward rather than upward, the affected skin taking on an almost reptilian texture,
