G18 Hunter Soundwave converts from a vulture-like jet fighter into a lanky robot mode equipped with his primary weapon, the Talon Grapple Cannon, and is accompanied by a Ravage mini-figure which converts into a recon drone. By decrypting a transmission between Bumblebee and Wheeljack, Soundwave learns of the existence of exotic weaponry stockpiled aboard an ancient vessel. While Soundwave continues to monitor the chatter and verify that Bumblebee and Wheeljack are working alone, Megatron and Predaking embark on a quest to acquire the weapons themselves.
