G13 Hunter Shockwave coverts from a tank mode with removable beast armor into a massive robot outfitted with his primary weapon, the Hyperflux Cannon; he possesses spinning panels which gather ambient cosmic energy to fuel his power blast, and his missiles generate miniature black holes. Following Megatron’s disappearance, Shockwave recognizes the new threat posed by the Predacons, the latter now operating under the sole command of Predaking. Shockwave abandons his Predacon-cloning procedure, however in the course of decommissioning his Hyperevolution laboratory he discovers the presence of Smokescreen and hatches a scheme to blame the destruction of the facility on the Autobots.
