Utilizing the Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Deluxe Class mold, UN-31 Beast Megatron converts from an overtly mechanized tyrannosaurus to a lithe robot mode with a Cyber Key-activated tail-cannon. Beast Megatron favored complicated intrigues and subtle manipulations to the original Megatron’s straightforward conquest-driven assaults. Though his initial mission, guided by the stolen Golden Disk, involved uncovering the Ark and destroying the stasis-locked G1 Optimus Prime, Megatron did take the time pursue a few of his own interests first. A renegade Predacon, Megatron’s varying endeavors attracted the notice of the Tripredacus Council which eventually dispatched operatives to neutralize Megatron.
