Carrying on the recent trend of painting Optimus Prime black and calling him "Darkside Optimus Prime" in Japan, Takara-Tomy have updated with a page for an upcoming Toys R Us promotion - this EZ Collection Darkside Optimus Prime, based on the Revenge of the Fallen Legend, will be available at Toys R Us Japan on 30 August to those spending 3000 yen or more on applicable Transformers Darkside of the Moon products. It is a pretty cool promotional piece, made in smokey clear transparent plastic with silver red and teal accents.
