Modeled after Gen 2 Laser Optimus Prime, UN-22 G2 Optimus Prime is equipped with trailer hitch/Laser Rod sword accessory. A battle with Megatron in Sector 17 of the Mirtonian constellation leaves Optimus Prime severely damaged. He acquires a new, more powerful body, in the course of which his structural integrity and logistical circuitry processors are programmed a more productive configuration. The upgrade provides him with new weaponry, including his sword, capable of immobilizing Megatron. With each new upgrade, necessitated by countless campaigns, Optimus modifies his tactics and attack style.
