GC-22 Sonic Bomber/Wing Saber is accompanied by left and right blades & blade handles/small guns, left and right missile launchers & missiles, and Cyber Key; Wing Saber transforms from a military plane into a fairly large, fairly well-articulated robot mode. Wing Saber’s Cyber Key function enables a cannon which works in concert with electronic sound effects and LED lights; Wing Saber can be reconfigured into a flight pack complete the Leader Class Optimus Prime’s Sonic Wing Mode. Wing Saber’s close bond with Optimus Prime was formed during the Powerlinx Battles. Though he is an experienced, tactically-adept warrior, Wing Saber is compelled to continuously prove himself to Prime and distinguish himself in the eyes of his fellow Autobots. Equipped with weapons and armor rivaling those of the most legendary Cybertronian warriors, Wing Saber is one of the few Autobots with a warp system enabling him to achieve interstellar flight without a spacebridge.
