The Ultra Onslaught Japan Version - G1 Accurate Paintjob features a dingier color scheme with a murky green chassis and olive-green panel sections, along with a silver mouthplate. Onslaught transforms into a bulky six-wheeled assault vehicle. The rhino-like vehicle mode is fitted with an underbite grill and a pair of roof-mounted cannons. Onslaught’s heavily armored robot mode, equally imposing, features back-mounted cannons, a forearm-mounted gun, and a rectangular shield. The original Onslaught was one among a group of disembodied renegade Decepticons liberated by Starscream and provided with bodies converted from a weathered collection of manmade military ordinance. Following the defeat of Starscream’s Brigade (and Starscream’s subsequent blundering attempt to distance himself from the banished Combaticons), Onslaught organized Shockwave’s defeat on Cybertron and a daffy scheme to drive the Earth into the sun.
