The Ultra Silverbolt Japan Version: G1 Accurate Paintjob features an off-white jet hull and areas of dark red replacing the robot mode’s purple sections. Silverbolt appears to be extensively articulated in his robot mode. He’s equipped with a projectile-firing blaster somewhat shaped into the semblance of the original Silverbolt’s electrostatic discharger rifle. Silverbolt features a vehicle speed of Mach 1.9, with a range of 4500 miles. Silverbolt was created by the Autobots along with the other Aerialbots to offset the advantage provided to the Decepticons by the newly created Stunticons. Chosen as the leader of the Aerialbots, Silverbolt was forced to contend with a nearly overpowering fear of heights, which fueled mild derision among the other Aerialbots during the Aerialbots’ early malcontentedness. Silverbolt managed to conquer his fear, and defined himself as a heroic and resourceful commander.
