Hot Rodimus is a well-balanced, impressive looking robot crafted with an extensive array of articulation His altmode is a sleek dark red car chased with gold flames and mounted by a broad orange spoiler; the spoiler alternately provides Hot Rodimus’ robot mode with a winged configuration. Hot Rodimus is equipped with a projectile-firing tailpipe/photon laser. Originally Hot Rod blundered his way through most of Transformers: The Movie, eventually being chosen by the Matrix and upgraded into Rodimus Prime. After the movie, Rodimus held command for a period of time prior to the outbreak of the red-hazed Hate Plague and the subsequent resurrection of Optimus Prime. Rodimus’ Classics profile is not dissimilar to that of Hot Rod: young and impetuous, his determination lends effectiveness to his comparative inexperience.
