Takara will modify the paint schemes on all the Japanese Classics figures. They are introducing completely different paint on Megatron and Astrotrain, and the other figures all will have chrome added along with slightly different designs to their paint scheme.
Classics Bumblebee features a modified vehicle mode complete with streamlined trailer and jet ski accessories. In robot mode, he’s got a kind of simplified Alternators-type design, and the add-on attachments are seemingly redistributed into a pair of glider wings. Bumblebee was the plucky sprat of the original Autobot crew, loyal, kind-hearted, and well-balanced as a soldier. Bumblebee’s Classics profile emphasizes the courage that outweighs his size deficit, and also states that Bumblebee is configured for aerial and underwater missions.
