E-Hobby has just announced another brand new exclusive! The Clear Mirage exclusive features a clear or translucent plastic version of the very popular Ford GT mold. Stay tuned for more details and images as they are released.
This version of Mirage has been christened the “Electro Disrupter” version. Presented as a Ford GT as opposed to a formula race car, Mirage’s vehicle mode features all of the usual car interior accoutrements. The engine turbocharger transforms into handheld blasters. The robot mode is particularly interesting, featuring a slightly deviated transformation mode and providing Mirage with a bulky frame.
Mirage’s default function presents him as a spy, a task to which his electro-disruptor ability is perfectly suited; originally the ability was cited as being able to cast illusions altering Mirage’s physical placement and appearance for up to 6 minutes. Additionally he was originally cited for mild ambiguity in terms of the Autobot cause, although the cartoon version was sometimes (no pun intended) cloaked in mystery, at the end of the day Mirage’s loyalty and courage were without question.
