The reissue Kup features the sections of die-cast found in the original version, and is equipped with an ergonomically adjusted version of his original Musket Laser as well as his Nebulan partner Recoil. A cranky, roughhewn veteran with myriad tales at his disposal and all varieties of solicited and unsolicited advice for his cohorts, Kup has a penchant for lackadaisically reflecting upon his past adventures literally in the course of present-moment engagements. Kup’s antiquated Musket Laser fires bursts of metal-corroding acid; Kup’s partner Recoil transforms into a similar version to the original musket. In vehicle mode, Kup is capable of a maximum speed of 100 miles with a range of 800 miles.
The version of Wheelie included in the set features a modified color scheme. Sole survivor of a group of intergalactic colonists marooned on Earth, necessity made Wheelie a diminutive barbarian surviving his perilous environment only by virtue of instinct, guile, and unflinching bravery. Characterized by his distaste for Decepticons, Wheelie serves as close friend and reliable ally to the Dinobots, Hotrod, and Kup.
