When a satellite owned by billionaire industrialist Charles Bishop Weyland detects a powerful heat source beneath a remote island off the South Pole, Weyland assembles a team of specialists in a bid to claim and harness the power source. But as they reach the island, they discover an abandoned whaling station that has a mysterious shaft cut into the ice. Descending through the shaft, the group finds an ancient pyramid buried entirely beneath the surface.
The group's guide Alexa Woods leads them to investigate, and the scientists find hieroglyphs and sculptures that reveal the pyramid as a hunting ground for Predators, collecting Alien trophies as rites of passage.The humans are soon caught in the middle of an ages old war as a group of Predators arrive to awaken a captive, frozen Alien Queen to battle her deadly progeny. One by one, the humans are eliminated by either Predator or Alien, caught in the conflict.
