Measuring approximately 16.5” H x 10” W x 7.5” L, the Predator Legendary Scale Bust, presented in approximately 1 : 2 scale is individually painted and finished. The original Predator, portrayed in stealth mode for the first half of the movie, infiltrates a Central America jungle to slaughter heavily-armed human prey. Slaying a detachment of guerillas, the Predator leaves its butchered quarry behind and fixates on a newly-arrived group of commandos, observing them in anticipatory silence from above tangling foliage and constricting trails; the Predator methodically eliminates the commandos until only the resourceful team leader, Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer, remains. Dutch covers himself in mud to mask his heat signature, ultimately prompting the Predator to remove his bio mask. Even without his otherworldly weaponry, the Predator is more than a match for his human adversary. Dutch defeats the Predator only by virtue of ingenuity; mortally wounded, the Predator accesses the wrist computer and initiates a self-destruct sequence, triggering a massive explosion which obliterates all evidence of his presence.
