Indiana Jones is a world-renowned adventurer and professor of archeology. Once known as the go-to-guy for artifact retrieval, Indy's travels often put him at odds with dangerous rivals, battling enemies from power-hungry Nazis to voodoo priests. After an incident with the Soviets, Dr. Jones is placed on indefinite leave from his position at Marshal College, just in time to meet Mutt Williams. Mutt informs Indy that his old colleague Harold Oxley has disappeared on an expedition to find Akator, the lost city of the Mayans. Deciphering Oxley's letter, Indy quickly realizes that his old friend, trailed by Soviet agent Irina Spalko, is after the Crystal Skull. Heading to Peru, Mutt and Indiana Jones must find Oxley and get to Akator before the Soviet agents.
