Measuring approximately 18” H x 9” W x 8.5” D, the Spider-Woman Legendary Scale Bust is a hand-finished, hand-painted polystone sculpture. Spider-Woman is depicted with a piquant tilt of the head and windswept hair; her lavish form is accentuated by her yellow and red costume. Spider-Woman has highly enhanced strength and reflexes, wall-crawling ability, can maintain a kind of gliding flight, and is able to manufacture bioelectric venom blasts. Initially her abilities were misappropriated by the HYDRA organization; brainwashed by Count Otto Vermis, Jessica Drew was transformed into the assassin called Arachne, although in the course confrontation with S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury the murderous predilections of Vermis were revealed to Drew. She later rejoined HYDRA, working as a double agent on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D.
