Serial killer Charles Lee Ray, the Lakeshore Strangler nicknamed "Chucky," used voodoo to transfer his soul into a child's doll after being mortally wounded by police. Chucky searches for a new human victim to posses, but when Chucky's attempts repeatedly fail, his rage is too much to contain. Taking advantage of his new, seemingly harmless 'doll' body, Chucky runs amuck on a murderous rampage, killing anyone who crosses his path. His diabolically comical adventures continue in Bride of Chucky, as Chucky takes a wife - Tiffany.
