The Hellboy 2: 1/4 Scale ‘The Samaritan’ Revolver Prop Replica measures approximately 4.5” H x 4.5” W x 3” L. Intended to represent the weapon version portrayed in Hellboy II: The Golden Army, the ‘The Samaritan’ is a limited edition replica hand crafted in dense metal. The replica is accompanied by a display stand bearing an engraved B.P.R.D logo and four bullet display spaces; the circular portion of the display is detachable from the base and is situated with a magnet that allows ‘The Samaritan’ to be mounted against any metal surface. Hellboy acts as a paranormal investigator, calling upon his demonically enhanced abilities to battle garden variety monsters and otherworldly horrors. The original Samaritan portrayed in Hellboy II: The Golden Army is constructed to fire customized bullets capable of penetrating most obstacles. The gun’s metal content is derived from the likes of blessed silver and Irish church bells; the gun’s grips are crafted from the wood of the True Cross. Specialized rounds such as Creature Killers are invested with explosive shells incorporating elements such as holy water, white oak and cold iron shavings.
