In Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2, Ash found himself terrorized by a bevy of downright unfriendly dead critters, and the story is no different in Army of Darkness, except there are a LOT more of them. Ash has been time-warped to a medieval castle, where he is forced to fight two deadly Deadites to prove his worth to the locals, and maybe survive a little longer. After earning their trust, Ash embarks on a quest to retrieve the Necronomicon, the Book of the Dead. If he recites the right words while in possession of the Necronomicon, it will allow him to return to his own time and dispel the evil of the Deadites.
Unfortunately for Ash, he fumbles those simple magical words, and unleashes the entire Army of the Dead. Now Ash must lead his medieval friends in a battle against the forces lead by his evil couterpart, Evil Ash, and his army of skeletal warriors. Employing 20th century tactics, a chainsaw mounted to his wrist, his boomstick, and just enough smart-ass commentary, can Ash save the day and get back home?
