The Revolution Series 01: “Metal” Zangief Exclusive is limited to 1500 pieces. Metal Zangief, gunmetal-hued, with red trunks and boots and inflamed red eyes, is designed to resemble the alternate version Mecha Zangief from the Marvel vs. Capcom games. Zangief distinguished himself as the greatest of the Soviet Union’s professional wrestlers. He was selected to demonstrate to the world the might of the Soviet Union. Zangief was shown briefly in Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, during which he arrogantly disrobed from his flowing red cape in order to battle with ravenous cage-bound Blanka; Zangief subjected Blanka to a piledriver, but Blanka quickly retaliated, electrocuting and biting Zangief at the same time. Zangief’s wrestling moves are based heavily in elaborate slam maneuvers.
