Dhalsim is typically gaunt and muscular, adorned by hoop wrist bracelets and a necklace of skulls. Though Dhalsim’s enlightenment largely precluded violence, he initially fought in the tournament for the financial welfare of his village. During Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, Dhalsim was shown fighting against E. Honda, and was holding his own, having used his power to entrance Honda, until he was distracted by the presence of Ryu. Dhalsim’s disciplined, mystical training has honed him to nearly supernatural levels, granting him the power of levitation, teleportation and outré contortionism. Among Dhalsim’s arsenal of moves are his Yoga Fire, Yoga Flame and Yoga Spear maneuvers.
